Picture-based tools that support lower-literacy users in making evidence-based decisions for their life.

Sample pages

We use custom designed illustration-based communication to engage participants without requiring literacy or numeracy. Highly contextualized for the specific community and program, participants are treated as experts in their own lives. The illustrated pages provide them with visual reminders of learned curriculum, and interactive elements become an accurate program data source, regardless of local language or literacy level.

These Planning and Analysis Sample Pages are from several different projects. The top banner indicates how to interact and make marks for the page. Participants are encouraged to check things they already have, circle goals, discuss realities and barriers, plan steps towards achieving their goal and finally track their progress.
